Our story

Rablo makes desk stands that are meant to be lived with — not tolerated.

We started because we couldn't find a monitor stand that felt like a real object. Every option we looked at was plastic, hollow, or trying to be a piece of tech. So we spent 18 months prototyping in a workshop in Belgium, sanding oak until it felt right in the hand. Rablo is what came out of that.

The material

Every Rablo piece starts as a single block of FSC-certified European oak or American black walnut. No veneers, no plywood laminates. The grain runs continuously through the whole piece, which is why each one looks slightly different — and why it patinates the way real wood does.

The craft

Every stand is milled by hand and finished by hand. Every edge is sanded through five grits. Every piece gets three coats of a natural hardwax oil that food-safe and lets the wood breathe. We don't spray anything. We don't laser-etch. If it can't be done with a hand tool, we don't do it.
